About:
The works in this exhibit represent a highly subjective vantage of the natural landscape of the artist’s homeland. The landscapes depict the pure joy of the world around us, without a struggle to define subjects with representational precision. There is an element of surprise in the interpretation of nature, a mystery which the artist tends to express through the use of light and shade. The methods used fully allow the artist to abandon conventional style, seeking the warmth and comfort of nature through experimentation and a tacit response to creative expression. The final works portray pure aesthetics, a sense of presence and completion without having an explanation. Thereby, this exhibit is meant to communicate deeper insights into all the enchantments and the mysteries that exist in nature.
