For those of you who think that headline is a little misleading given our recent building closings and curtailment of hours due to inclement weather, consider the library you can’t see, our eLibrary.
While we do reluctantly close our doors due to emergency, the library you can’t see is always there for you. In this library, all you need is a computer, tablet, or smart phone to borrow a book (or listen to one), read a magazine, watch a documentary, listen to music (or even download music for free) or learn a language.
If you’re a student and you need help with homework, the library you can’t see is here to help. Check out Brainfuse, where live, online homework help, skills-building, writing assistance, test preparation, and more is available from 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. daily. And if you’re doing research on a longer-term project, we have a comprehensive collection of digital resources.
While we love seeing you in person every day in our magnificent Sands Library Building, we hope you remember that when we can’t open the doors, the library you can’t see is always there for you.
