While municipal funding covers baseline operations, charitable giving accounts for 20% of Princeton Public Library’s operating budget. Books, programs and critical services are all paid for with private donations. Oct. 20 represents the point this year when all other funding sources run out and giving takes over. From now through Dec. 31, every day the library is open is thanks to our donors.
