Gifts to Honor or Remember

Honor With Books

Are you looking for a meaningful gift for a birthday, holiday or special occasion or a way to remember a loved one? Dedicate a book through our Honor With Books program and share the gift of reading with our community by making a charitable donation that will last for years to come.

Every book at Princeton Public Library is purchased with charitable funding and the cost of those books has risen dramatically in recent years. Libraries pay a premium for the books in our collection, with average costs of $30 for print books, $55 for eBooks and $90 for audiobooks.  Gifts made through Honor with Books can help us maintain and enhance our collections and meet the needs of everyone in our community.

  • With your gift of $30 or more, Princeton Public Library will add a book to our collection and provide an acknowledgement card that can be given or mailed to your intended gift recipient.
  • With a gift of $100 or more, Princeton Public Library will add a book to our collection and provide an acknowledgement card. We will also add a commemorative bookplate that shows who the gift was given by and on whose behalf it was given. Each time the book is opened, your honoree will be recognized and your gift will be appreciated.

Dedicate a book today.

Named Memorial Funds

Gifts to the endowment are a wonderful way to remember a loved one and provide permanent support to Princeton Public Library. Endowed funds are invested strategically to preserve their original value and generate income, and are used to support the library’s collections and programs for current and future library users.

A named fund within the endowment may be established with a donation of $25,000 or more. To learn more about endowed funding opportunities, please contact Kaylie Keesling, Development Director, at kkeesling@princetonlibrary.org.
