Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., activist, Baptist minister, and Civil Rights movement leader of the 1950s and 1960s, was born on January 15, 1929. If not for his tragic assassination in 1968, Dr. King would be celebrating his 94th birthday this year (2023). We celebrate Martin Luther King., Jr. Day on the third Monday of January, to mark and celebrate his work and legacy in the fight for human rights. This booklist features Dr. King's writings, as well as works about him.
