Bio
Miya T. Beck is thrilled to have woven elements from three of her favorite classic books – “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” and Sei Shonagon’s “The Pillow Book” – into her second novel. She would definitely put this feat on her list of Delightful Things. Miya’s exploration of the Japanese side of her heritage introduced her to the myths and fairy tales that inspired her debut novel, “The Pearl Hunter.” A native Californian, she lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
