“Phases of the Heart” is a heartfelt project that showcases the diverse emotions the human heart sometimes experiences over time. The collection is a testament to the artist’s commitment to telling their personal story through the medium of oil paint, brush and canvas.

About the Artist

Artist Bio

7ove Child: The artist also known as Marlon Davila is a first generation Guatemalan born in Princeton N.J. He studied his first love, fashion, at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Continuing his education in fine arts, he discovered his true love, painting, while attending Mercer County Community College. He graduated with honors and achieved the Jack Harris Memorial Scholarship for his Excellence in Fine Arts. He also attended Art Escape Italy in May, 2017, a workshop with Hendrik Uldalen.

7ove Child’s work is influenced by nature, the bright vibrant colors of his Mayan ancestry, as well as the works of Frida Kahlo, Dali and Picasso.

Infused in his art is his expression of his love of nature and present-day occurrences.
