About Princeton Zine Fest

Princeton Zine Fest (PtonZF) is back for a second year with an afternoon showcasing and celebrating zines and those who create them.

Pronounced “zeen,” zine is short for magazine or fanzine. Small, self-published, do-it-yourself publications, zines are created in a wide variety of genres and are typically reproduced on a copy machine. Those who create them are called zinesters.
Learn more about creating zines by visiting “The How to Make a Zine” resource guide published by the Library of Congress.

June 21, Noon – 5 p.m.

Events of the day:

  • Zine Marketplace: Features 40 booths and takes place in the Community Room and Hinds Plaza.
  • Music: Mike Lupica of WFMU-FM will spin tunes on Hinds Plaza all afternoon and distribute the latest version of the radio station’s zine.
  • Create Your Own Zine: dedicated space for creating your own zine with the help of librarians from Princeton University’s Makerspace, some supplies provided by the library or bring your own.
