Are you planning a vacation? Are you wondering how to keep the kids amused on a long car trip? Stop by the Youth Services department and let us help. Our “Book a Trip” is one of the many services we offer to provide you a great library experience.
By filling out a simple “Book a Trip” form, we’ll pull together a wide variety of materials that will be interesting, educational and fun for your child. We also have printed copies available at our service desk on the third floor. Please give us a week to put together your package.
Let us know where you are traveling to and we’ll gather books about the area. If your child has particular interest or likes a certain author, we’ll have them for you. Do they prefer audiobooks? We have a great collection of fiction and non-fiction titles that are sure to please the entire family. Don’t forget about our Playaway collection. Playaways are pre-recorded, MP3 type devices that use ear buds for personal use. With over 300 titles to choose from, there is sure to be a Playaway that will interest your little one.
So, instead of listening to “are we there yet?” let us make your vacation a well read one.
