Parking

Library parking is available in the Spring Street Garage located adjacent to the library. Drivers may enter the lot from Spring Street or through the library access driveway (Sylvia Beach Way) off Wiggins Street. Motorists receive 30 minutes of free parking using the Spring Street Garage. Take a paper ticket when entering.

Library cardholders may have their tickets validated for up to two hours of free parking per day when they visit the library during library operating hours.

Book Drops

Book drops on Sylvia Beach Way, Princeton Shopping Center and 400 Witherspoon Street are open.

Construction at PSC: The library’s book drop is at the roundabout between McCaffrey’s and the bus station in front of the office building (Princeton Ballet School).

We empty our book drops daily. If there is an issue with a book drop, please let us know.

Public Transportation

The library is accessible via public transportation.

By rail take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line to Princeton Junction and transfer to the Princeton Local (a.k.a. “The Dinky”). NJ Transit Bus 605 and Bus 606 serve Princeton and the surrounding areas. Princeton University’s TigerTransit bus service also provides free transportation with various stops on campus. The closest Princeton Muni Bus stop is at Palmer Square.
