June 2021 | Princeton High School Racial Literacy Class

This recording is presented in partnership by Princeton Public Library and Not In Our Town Princeton.

Racial literacy is an open acknowledgement that literacy is multi-faceted and requires a lifelong commitment to growth and change. Racial justice is that which allows us to take action steps toward courageous conversations, going together as a class to the places that allow us to understand complex ideas of joy and pain, domination and progress without the gaze of those who have never explored these topics before. Students from the Princeton High School 16-week Spring 2021 Racial Literacy & Justice class will share what they’ve learned.

This event was recorded on June 7, 2021.
