Terra Libri Cafe Hours

Terra Libri, the library cafe, is located in the lobby of the Princeton Public Library. Doors to the cafe and lobby open at 8:30 a.m. Monday-Saturday and at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The cafe closes one hour before the library closes.

Directions, Parking & Bookdrops

The Princeton Public Library is located at 65 Witherspoon St., at the corner of Witherspoon and Wiggins Streets, in Princeton Borough. See our location and get directions from Google Maps.

Library parking is available in the Municipal Garage at Spring Street located adjacent to the library. Drivers may enter the lot from Spring Street or through the library access driveway (Sylvia Beach Way) off Wiggins Street. Library card holders can have their tickets validated for up to 2-hours of free parking when they visit the library. Other visitors receive 30 minutes of free parking if they use the Municipal Garage at Spring Street. For more information about parking in Princeton visit princetonparking.org.

Public Transportation
The library is also accessible via public transportation. By rail take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line to Princeton Junction and transfer to the Princeton Local (a.k.a. “The Dinky”). The freeB bus service also runs from the train station to Princeton. NJ Transit Bus Services 605 and 606 serve Princeton and the surrounding areas. The freeB bus service also provides free transportation with various stops in town as does Princeton University’s TigerTransit.

For your convenience the library has bookdrops in several locations in town where you can return your books and audiovisual materials 24/7.

  • Palmer Square East, accross from Winberries
  • Princeton Shopping Center, in the parking lot near Rite Aid
  • Sylvia Beach Way, in the driveway adjacent to the library building
