Presentation: The 25 Innovations That Define Modern Sports with Sam McCleery

This recording is presented by Princeton Public Library. Sam McCleery, an Emmy award winning executive who has been in the forefront of innovation for several popular sports brands, discusses groundbreaking changes to sports.

Sports has created a large, passionate community of fans and followers which elicits much debate. With fellow colleagues and subject-matter experts from companies like ESPN, Nike, Adidas, FOX and CBS to name a few, Sam McCleery has created a list of twenty-five people and innovations that define the modern American sports experience. In order to be on the list, a person or innovation had to change the game, improve and be ubiquitous across all sports. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A from the audience.

Sam McCleery has produced tennis events at The White House, founded the first augmented reality company in sports and received an Emmy Award for his work associated with the Yellow First and Ten Line for football broadcasts. He has worked for sports brands-Prince Tennis, Adidas (France), and Under Armour, as well as sports media companies-PVI, Cablevision and ESPN.
