Presentation: Land Use and Circulation

This recording is presented in partnership by Princeton Public Library and Princeton Future. Planner Tony Nelessen leads a workshop about planning, coordinating and designing transportation to be more convenient, healthy and fun.

The library partners with Princeton Future, a local nonprofit not affiliated with the municipality, to explore strategies for better mobility and the possibilities for people to live comfortably and productively in Princeton without owning a car.

Nelessen, a member of the Council of Princeton Future, will present findings from the organization’s previous meetings, where residents shared recommendations for specific locations in Princeton where change is possible using mobility models.

From Princeton Future:
The workshop will consider the following questions:

Can we work together with the Municipality of Princeton, NJDOT and Princeton University to plan and implement a holistic mobility, circulation and parking Framework?

Can we achieve our commonly held goals of optimum convenience, sustainability and affordability?

The intention is to generate a consensus for a holistic mobility plan.
