This recording is presented by Princeton Public Library in partnership with Not in Our Town Princeton.

Clinical psychologist Nathalie Edmond presents “Building Racial Fluency and Agility: Solidarity in a Time of Polarization.”

From the Presenter

In a time of polarization on many topics, we revisit the fundamentals of antiracism that centers anti-blackness across all social justice movements. This is an invitation to diversify how we talk about race based on our goals in the moment and where people may be in their antiracism journey. Strategies for calling people in and forward rather than people calling out will be explored. We will discuss how to be kind while disrupting the culture of politeness that keeps oppressive systems in place.
