Formed in 1985, African American Parent Support Group (AAPSG) is a group who advocates on behalf of the African American students and students of the Black diaspora in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. For over 35 years, AAPSG’s mission has been to work in partnership with the school district, parents, students and the community, to create programs for students in grades K-12 that will enhance positive self-esteem and promote cultural diversity in curriculum and instruction programs. AAPSG also works in partnership with the school district to ensure that our children have the necessary tools to achieve academic excellence in a safe, caring and welcoming environment that challenges students academically while also supporting their social and emotional needs in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. AAPSG will discuss lessons learned and give guidance for those who would like to do similar work in their school districts. We invite you to invite like-minded friends to our discussion.
