My third post about online accounts explains how to renew your items. Once you have logged in you will be brought to the main page of your account (see my previous post to find out how to register your account and log in for the first time). On the left hand side of the screen, you will see a column with the heading “My Borrowing.” This is where you can see and access your account activity. Under Checked Out (Renew), you will see your next due date and the total number of items checked out to you. When you click on “Next Due” or “Total Items” you are taken to your “Checked Out” page, which details each item you have checked out, its due date, and how many times that item has been renewed. When available, a picture of the item is also displayed. You can renew your items on this “Checked Out” page. Click on the little box next to the item(s) you would like to renew and a little green check mark will appear in the box. Next, scroll to the top or to the bottom of the page and click on the big red “Renew” button.
Keep in mind that once an item becomes overdue, you will need to call us at exts. 210 or 272 or come in person to renew your items. You will not be able to renew overdue items online. If you would like to renew an item that requires a rental fee, such as a DVD or videogame, you will also have to call us at the above extensions or come to the library in person. These items should not be renewed online.
