Bio
From the author: James Betz grew up in the small town of Pennington, New Jersey. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Oregon, James returned to his hometown in late 2014. Due to his passion for creative writing, cinema, historic preservation, and music, he sought to become a fiction writer specializing in supernatural horror and historical fiction.
In March of 2020, James published his first book, “Ralston Heights,” a chilling supernatural novel with a hybridization of history and fiction. In 2023, James published his second novel, “A Party on Redd Street,” which also happens to be another blend of history and fiction set during the final years of the Cold War. Albeit self-published, James plans to continue to pursue his lifelong dream as an author.
