Bio

Dan Misdea has contributed cartoons to The New Yorker since 2021. His work has also appeared in Air Mail, Narrative, Weekly Humorist, The Golfer’s Journal, and elsewhere. His first children’s book, “The Light Inside,” is a wordless graphic novel that follows a timid jack-o’-lantern’s spooky quest to retrieve its favorite toy. Dan lives and draws in New Jersey.
