About Event Proposals
Events are planned according to Section 9 of the Policies and Procedures Manual to complement the library’s collections and to help meet the library’s mission and goals. Events are free and open to the public without being subject to solicitation of any kind.
The library’s programming team reviews all proposals once every month; please allow four to five weeks for a response to your proposal.

Please be aware that planning for library programs begins three to six months before a program occurs. Proposals for 2025 will be considered by library staff according to the schedule below. Under very limited circumstances, the programming team may decide to move ahead with a program proposal on shorter notice than the schedule indicates.
