Poets at the Library – Susan Gerardi Bello and Mike Griffith

This recording is presented in partnership by Princeton Public Library, US1 Poets’ Cooperative and Delaware Valley Poets. Featured poets Susan Gerardi Bello and Michael Griffith read from their work for 20 minutes each, followed by an open-mic session.

Susan Gerardi Bello lives with her husband and son in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her first poetry collection, “Through the Oak Tree” was published by Kelsay books in 2019. Bello served as selecting poetry editor for three years for U.S. 1 Worksheets. She has been published in poetry journals in print and online, including Mom Egg Review, New Verse News, and the Schuylkill Valley Journal and is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee.

Michael A. Griffith teaches at Raritan Valley and Mercer County Community colleges. He is the author of three chapbooks of poetry, “Bloodline,” “Exposed” and “New Paths to Eden.” Besides writing poetry, Griffith is a textbook editor and writer of short features. He lives near Princeton. Recent publications and websites featuring his work include Ariel Chart, Hunterdon Art Museum (Clinton, NJ) Summer 2020 Poets Workshop, Impspired, Kelsey Review, Ramingo’s Porch, Thirteen Myna Birds, and the U.S. 1 Worksheets series.
