Teen summer volunteers @ the library

In the summertime, Princeton Public Library offers volunteer opportunities for teens with library cards. Our teen summer volunteers have traditionally been kept busy registering summer reading program participants, who range in age from zero to high school seniors, logging their reading hours and handing out the appropriate prizes for the different milestones reached. This year, we provided a unique opportunity for our volunteers called the Teen Summer Event Team.

Culinary adventures and more

I’ve been inspired. Let me back things up for a minute. I have always loved to cook; In fact I briefly thought about going to culinary school long before library school. I have been collecting cookbooks for years. Most of the time I read them in the same way I would read a favorite fiction novel. Then I place them back on the shelf to collect dust.

Teen volunteers: summer starts here

Every summer we are happy to have about 100 teenage volunteers lend a helping hand in the library. Once again as we are getting ready for a great summer of reading clubs and special events ahead at 65 Witherspoon Street, we are counting on the contribution of our volunteers to make it the best summer ever at Princeton Public Library. Now is the time for interested teens (entering seventh grade or above), to apply.
