Have you put off preparing your tax returns? It's not too late. Appointments at the library with AARP tax volunteers are still available between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Monday, April 13. The volunteers will be on hand at the library to prepare and file your personal New Jersey and/or federal tax returns.
Local Author Day is an annual event that promotes established and emerging local literary talents. The day begins with workshops for writers, published or not, and is followed by a book fair from 1-4 p.m. where the authors interact with the public and sell and sign their books. Select authors also read excepts of their work during the event.

It’s a tradition in the Youth Services department at Princeton Public Library. The first day of summer also is the first day of our summer reading programs. This summer preschoolers through teens are invited to “Dig into Reading.” The general theme of our programs and clubs will be the “underground.”
Ask a teenager, “What is your unique vision for the future?” It’s no surprise that local teens have answers to this question and want to share their thoughts, dreams, and plans with the community. As part of Princeton Public Library’s TEDxYouth event, “Imagine the Future,” on November 16, we have eight teens presenting talks about their passions and showcasing their visions for how their generation can change the world for the better.
Princeton Public Library's Fall Technology Classes have started. From now through December, the library is offering over 30 classes from Downloading e-Books to Marketing Your Small Business with Pinterest to an iPhoto class and more. Our instructors are experts in the fields they're teaching and are looking forward to teaching what they're passionate about.
We’ve hit our midway point for Summer Reading and programming in Youth Services. It seems like only yesterday we were out in the schools promoting the programs, now here we are over one month later with more than 1,200 preschoolers, children and teens enrolled in our summer reading clubs! Nothing short of amazing if you ask me!
