We are delighted to be back in person for our 2022 Book Lovers Luncheon, featuring author Julia Glass, winner of the National Book Award for her first novel Three Junes (2002). This year’s event will be held in the large and airy Travertine Room at TPC Jasna Polana, the magnificent and historic home of J. Seward and Barbara Johnson.

Ms. Glass is also the winner of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Author of six critically acclaimed novels, she’s been coined a “formidable storyteller” by The Washington Book Review.  Ms. Glass will discuss her work, including her upcoming release Vigil Harbor (May 3) with Tamsen Wolff, author and associate professor in the Department of English at Princeton University. This latest acclaimed book has been called “a novel of heart and humanity” by Gary Shteyngart, author of Our Country Friends.

Join our community of readers for a lively conversation about all of Julia’s compelling titles. There will be door prizes, our library staff will share a list of spring “must reads” and Julia Glass will be signing copies of her new book. Enjoy a day out with friends, or perhaps include our luncheon in your Mother’s Day plans!
