Hilary Plum, author of “Strawberry Fields,” winner of the 2018 Fence Modern Prize in Prose, engages in conversation with Princeton University Professor of Journalism Deborah Amos.

Amos is an award-winning international correspondent for NPR News. Her reporting on the Middle East and refugees in the United States is regularly featured on NPR’s “Morning Edition,” “Weekend Edition,” and “All Things Considered.” She has recently covered the Syrian and Iraqi refugee crises, the economy in the Middle East, and the Arab youth surge.
