Is Episodic Fiction the Future of Publishing?

March 25, 2017, 10:45 am - 11:45 am

Local Author Day Workshop 2:

Modern technologies and reader demands have drastically changed the world of publishing in the past decade. Modeled after the television series, episodic fiction in prose form is one of the most buzz-worthy topics of the past 2 years that is finding an ever-expanding reader base.

This workshop, led by K. Edwin Fritz, will explore what episodic fiction is, how it differs from television shows or simply breaking a novel into chapters, and share an online platform where you can try your hand at self-publishing some episodic fiction on your own, for free.

Registration requested.

About the Instructor:

Keith Edwin Fritz entered this world on Halloween. The year, 1974, was the same as when Stephen Edwin King published his first novel. Keith prefers to think neither the date nor their middle names were a coincidence. Today Keith teaches 7th Grade Language Arts and writes to his heart’s content during his “spare time”. The best of these moments are nearly always by moonlight. The worst of them are also by moonlight.  Keith lives with his wife, Corina, in Lawrenceville.
