Award-winning author and illustrator Nora Krug speaks on her graphic novel “Belonging: A German Reckons with History and Home,” an illustrated and hand-lettered visual memoir of a German family’s experiences during WWII.
Krug is a German-American author and illustrator whose drawings and visual narratives have appeared in the world’s leading publications. She is a recipient of fellowships from Fulbright, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, the Maurice Sendak Foundation, and the German Academic Exchange Service. She teaches at Parsons School of Design. Part of the Fall Storytelling series.
