Library Cards
Free library cards are available to all residents of the Municipality of Princeton. Educators of Princeton Public Schools as well as of private schools located in the Municipality of Princeton are also eligible for free library cards.
Curriculum Support Services
Our staff can suggest materials from the library’s collection to assist your teaching or to aid in research by your students. Let us know what units you’re teaching or a project that’s on the horizon, and we’ll curate appropriate materials.
School Visits
We are out in the community visiting schools and supporting teachers in promoting the benefits of lifelong learning. For more information, contact us at kids@princetonlibrary.org.
Youth Art Showcase
Schools, child care centers and other organizations serving children that are located in the Municipality of Princeton, NJ are invited to submit the following form to request having student (ages 0-17) artwork displayed on the bulletin board on the third floor of the Princeton Public Library.
Storytime At Home
Create your own storytime! We’ve made it easy to do storytime in your classroom. Choose from themed storytime plans crafted by our Youth Services Librarians. Each plan contains a list of books followed by links to storytime songs sung by our staff and ideas for crafts and other activities.
eLibrary
Check out our collection of ebooks, audiobooks, as well as online movies, tv music, magazines and newspapers. We also offer online courses in everything from language learning to technology.

The library has a comprehensive collection of digital information sources available for research and learning.
