Storytimes & Read Alouds
Join us in the Virtual Storyroom as we share stories, songs and fun! Each Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am, we will be adding new “Storytime Shorts” to the library’s YouTube channel that children and families can enjoy from home whenever they want.
Join Youth Services staff for a special series of Storytime Shorts released on five consecutive Saturdays beginning on July 11 at 10:30 am. Each Super Saturday Storytime Short will include a book read-aloud, songs and rhymes, plus ideas and resources for related extension activities to do at home. Families can find Super Saturday Storytime Shorts on the library’s YouTube channel and enjoy from home whenever they like. We also encourage families to share their own inspired creations by sending photos to email@example.com or tagging @princetonpl on Instagram or Twitter.
What if you came home one day with a magic pot? Or outsmarted a giant while you were walking not far from home? Or helped break a sorcerer’s spell with help from some friends? Storyteller Maria LoBiondo shares folk, fairy, and fantasy stories to help you Imagine Your Story in this three-session series. Videos will be posted July 14-16 at 2 pm and will be available for on-demand viewing through August 15.
