Storytime At Home

Create your own storytime! We’ve made it easy to do storytime with your children at home or in your classroom. Choose from themed storytime plans crafted by our Youth Services Librarians. Each plan contains a list of books followed by links to storytime songs sung by our staff and ideas for crafts and other activities. Mix and match from this plan to create your perfect Storytime At Home!

Lit Lab

Students in grades K-3 are invited to join Youth Services staff for Lit Lab, where books meet hands-on maker activities! Each Lit Lab includes a book read-aloud and related maker activity to do at home, plus a curated list of other books, media and additional maker activities on the same theme. We also encourage families to share their own inspired creations by sending photos to or tagging @princetonpl on Instagram or Twitter.
