Cat’s Colors Storywalk

Explore PPL’s first StoryWalk®, a fun and active way to read a book together and get outside at the same time! The first PPL StoryWalk®, featuring Cat’s Colors written and illustrated by Airlie Anderson, is located in the windows on the first floor of the library facing Witherspoon Street. StoryWalk® is supported with funds provided by the NEH.

Storytime Songs and Rhymes

Rhyme and sing along with us! Youth Services staff share the best hits of storytime. Check back often for new rhymes and tunes.

Super Saturday Storytime Shorts

Youth Services staff shared a special summer series of Storytime Shorts released on five consecutive Saturdays. Each Super Saturday Storytime Short includes a book read-aloud, songs and rhymes, plus ideas and resources for related extension activities to do at home. Families can find Super Saturday Storytime Shorts on the library’s YouTube channel and enjoy from home whenever they like. We also encourage families to share their own inspired creations by sending photos to kids@princetonlibrary.org or tagging @princetonpl on Instagram or Twitter.

Chapter A Day

Hear installments of Rick Riordan’s fantastical adventure Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief read by the library’s Teen Advisory Board members.

Poem of the Day

Youth Services staff read a poem every day during April to mark National Poetry Month. View the archive and celebrate all year.
