Princeton University Concerts: Avi Avital and Omer Avital in Conversation

Monday, April 15, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Mandolinist Avi Avital and bassist Omer Avital engage in a moderated conversation with Princeton University’s Moulie Vidas, Associate Professor of Religion and the Program in Judaic Studies. This program is presented in advance of the April 16 Crossroads Series concert, “Avital Meets Avital” at Richardson Auditorium. The performance will blend jazz and classical traditions with the music of Morocco, North Africa, Israel, and the Mediterranean region.

Princeton University Concerts’ Crossroads Series draws musicians and music from around the globe and highlight music’s uncanny capacity to tell stories and spark new conversations.

Co-sponsored by the library and Princeton University Concerts.
