Poets at the Library

Featured readers include Irene Willis and guests reading from Willis’ sixth poetry book, the anthology “Climate of Opinion: Sigmund Freud” which is dedicated to the memory of her husband, Bernard Daves Rossell. Among the anthology contributors are the February 2019 readers: Juditha Dowd, Jean Hollander, Betty Lies, Vasiliki Katsarou, Nancy Scott, Elizabeth Socolow, Jill Stein, Maxine Susman, and Michael Waters. Featured readers are followed by an open-mic if time permits.

Summary
Irene Willis and guests. Irene Willis’ sixth poetry book is an anthology, Climate of Opinion: Sigmund Freud (IPBooks, 2017), and is dedicated to the memory of her husband, Bernard Daves Rossell. Among the anthology contributors are the February 2019 readers: Juditha Dowd, Jean Hollander, Betty Lies, Vasiliki Katsarou, Nancy Scott, Elizabeth Socolow, Jill Stein, Maxine Susman, and Michael Waters. Willis’ most recent books are: Reminder (Word Poetry, 2014), and Rehearsal (IPBooks, 2018). She has been nominated three times for the Pushcart Prizes, and is recipient of several fellowships and grants in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Currently, she is poetry editor of the online publication, International Psychoanalysis.
