OnStage Seniors: “In or Out: Stories of Belonging and Exclusion”

Sunday, November 10, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In their annual performance at the library, On Stage Seniors presents “In or Out: Stories of Belonging and Exclusion,” an array of stories, funny and sad, about moments of feeling accepted or left out.
Originally founded in 2007, OnStage Seniors: A Community Project of McCarter Theatre creates documentary theater performances that explore the stories and issues of our community. Our ensemble members—all over 55—perform in theaters, libraries, schools, conferences, hospitals, senior centers, and senior communities, generating delight, insight, and affirmation about senior memories and experience. In 2014, Onstage officially became a part of McCarter Theatre Center, joining a host of programs designed to educate and engage the community.
Presented in partnership with the library and McCarter Theate Center.
Presented with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this programming do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
