Film and Panel Discussion: “Let There Be Light”

This documentary tells the story of scientists from 37 countries who are building the most complex machine ever attempted in the hope of producing clean, cheap, abundant energy for millions of years.

 

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Princeton Plasma Physics Lab scientists Charles Swanson, David Johnson and education program leader Shannon Greco. Jane Baldwin, PhD candidate in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at Princeton University will also be on the panel. The panel will be moderated by Scientific American editor Michael Lemonick. Film running time, 1 hour, 20 minutes.
