Leon McCarron: The Land Beyond

Northern Irish adventurer and storyteller Leon McCarron, who specializes in long distance, human-powered expeditions discusses his latest book, The Land Beyond: A Thousand Miles on Foot through the Heart of the Middle East, which recounts his journey walking from Jerusalem to Mount Sinai. This journey has also been captured in a 3 part documentary series that is soon to be released. This talk and film screening explores the various layers of culture, history, faith and politics at work in the bubbling cauldron of one of the most complex and compelling places on earth.
