Invasive Plant Species

Mike Van Clef of the New Jersey Invasive Species Strike Team will share results of a study of existing and emergent invasive plant species in Princeton’s open space and offer an overview of the ecological health of the preserved land in Princeton. Emily Blackman, land protection associate and native nursery manager at D&R Greenway Land Trust; Jeff Geist, naturalist at Friends of Princeton Open Space; and other experts will discuss ways identify and eradicate invasive plants and to offer advice to homeowners seeking to find native alternatives.
