Panel Discussion: Indigenous Communities and Climate Change

A panel of eminent investigative journalists and scholars, specializing in the impact of climate changes on indigenous communities, will speak about their research, social activism, and recent publications. Panelists include Candis Callison (“How Climate Change Comes to Matter: The Communal Life of Facts”) and Tanya Talaga (“Seven Fallen Feathers: Racism, Death and Hard Truths in a Northern City”) and Deborah McGregor.  Kyle Whyte of Michigan State University will serve as moderator. Part of the International Symposium on Indigenous Communities and Climate Change convened by Simon A. Morrison.

Co-sponsored by the library, Princeton University Program in Canadian Studies and Program in Journalism with support from Princeton Environmental Film Festival.
