Film and Discussion: “The Differences Between Us”

October 25, 2016, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for the second part in our 5 part Racial Literacy series. A screening of Chapter 1 of “Race: The Power of an Illusion”, the three-part documentary about race in society, science and history will be followed by a discussion. This segment examines the science -including genetics – that challenges the assumption that human beings can be bundled into three or four fundamentally different groups according to their physical traits.

Admission is free for this event.

Co-sponsored by the library, Not in Our Town Princeton and the Princeton Garden Theater. Presented with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this programming do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
