Book Lovers Luncheon featuring Judith Viorst at Springdale Golf Club
Friday, May 17, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Friends of Princeton Public Library present the 2019 Book Lovers Luncheon featuring New York Times best-selling author Judith Viorst. Viorst will share her latest poetry collection “Nearing 90,” in which she candidly reflects on the complicated joys and everyday tribulations that await us, all with a large dose of humor. Viorst is also the author of the much-loved children’s book “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” and the popular young readers’ Lulu series.
Participants will enjoy a three-course luncheon and be seated with library staff who will share buzz-worthy titles to add to your summer reading list. Advanced reader copies of yet-to-be-published books by some other favorite authors will also be available.
Tickets are $75 and include lunch and copies of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and “Nearing 90.” Tickets are limited and may be purchased here. Proceeds benefit the library.
Co-sponsored by the Friends of Princeton Public Library and Beatrice Bloom of Weichert Realtors.
