No Control kicks off this summer’s Listen Local series with an homage to Eddie Money along with a Rock and Soul retrospective featuring beloved Classic Rock and Motown hits! Full event details.
June 22, 4 p.m. – Stay Tuned
Stay Tuned plays dance music that rocks. And pops. A swirling alchemy of Pop, Soul, and Grunge. The versatile quintet embraces a diverse songbook of covers and original compositions that audiences naturally groove to. Full event details.
July 13, 4 p.m. – New Yacht City
New Yacht City plays smoothest yacht rock and R&- inspired sounds of the ’70s and ’80s— bands like Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers and Toto as well as performers such as Christopher Cross and Rupert Holmes. Full event details.
Aug. 3, 3 p.m. – Stephanie Chin and Laurie Davis
Two solo artists take the stage for this edition of Listen Local. Laurie Davis will open the show with classic rock songs and Stephanie Chin will perform a set of inspirational R&B songs. Both performers will include some of their original songs. Full event details.
Aug. 17, 4 p.m. – Full Code
Classic rock band Full Code performs everything from The Beatles to the Boss as part of the Listen Local series. Full event details.
Sept. 14, 4 p.m. – The Professors
Close out our 15th anniversary season of Listen Local as The Professors return to Hinds Plaza to perform a concert featuring well-known rock songs as well as some of their originals. Full event details.
About Listen Local
Six bands perform on Hinds Plaza for our 15th season of Listen Local, the library’s signature summer music series featuring talent from Central Jersey. Concerts take place at 4 p.m. on Sundays, unless otherwise noted. In the event of rain or excessive heat, concerts will move indoors to the Community Room.
Bring a lawn chair, sit back, relax and enjoy the talent of the local music scene with us.

July 20, 3 p.m. – “The 1966 Show”
Join us as we go back in time almost six decades, turn on the car radio, and revisit many classic Top 40 tunes from The Beatles, The Mamas and The Papas, Donovan, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, The Four Tops, and more. Full event details.

July 27, 4 p.m. – The Beagles with Joy Record Release for “Soul on Fire”
Join The Beagles with Joy for a concert celebrating the release of “Soul On Fire,” their debut album of passionate, funky and soulful “love songs for grown-ups.”
