Friends Book Sales
The Friends of the Princeton Public Library hold Book Sales which are among the best in the region, with a wide selection of affordable books in many categories to suit all age groups.
Please check back regularly for the details of the next big Sale!
The Friends of the Princeton Public Library also operate a used bookstore in the library that is open during library hours. The store is stocked with books covering a wide range of topics and interests, with new titles being added daily. If you are looking for a beach read or that rare, out-of-print title, be sure to check out the bookstore for reasonably priced books.
All book sale proceeds go directly to the library for the purchase of books and materials, as well as the support of library programs.
We gladly accept:
- Audiobooks on CD, DVDs, & music on CD
We cannot accept:
- Badly worn, marked up, stained, musty or moldy items
- Magazines or journals
- VHS tapes, cassette tapes, computer games, vinyl records
- Computer, business, finance, self-help, travel guides or medical books more than 3 years old
Please pack items in sturdy bags or boxes, or bundle & tie with string. Please check that the contents meet our guidelines – our volunteers have found a range of items from soccer shinpads to wedding photos, and it is usually impossible to return them to the owner.
Donations are accepted whenever the library is open. They can be received at the back door on Sylvia Beach Way.
If you have more than 12 boxes of books, a consultation is required. Please contact the Friends of the Princeton Public Library Book Sale Manager at 609.924.9529, ext. 1227.
