We received 95 entries this year for the PSF&VF and the films selected represent this creative and outstanding work -- thank you to all of the student filmmakers for sending films for consideration!

The Princeton Student Film & Video Festival is in its 7th consecutive year and it is sponsored by the Princeton Public Library. The mission of the festival is to encourage and support the work of youth filmmakers in a range of genres and styles, with the opportunity and a venue for the filmmakers to show their work to a broad audience. The festival is open to high school and college students (or home-schooled, unschooled or not in school) ages 14-24 from Princeton and all points beyond, both near and far. There is no cost to enter. The festival screening dates are set for July 21 & 22, 2010 at the Princeton Public Library in downtown Princeton, New Jersey.

The screenings are free and open to the public and are intended for a teen and adult audience.

Filmmakers with selected films with be invited to provide a short Q&A after their film, and they will be provided with custom festival t-shirts.

the bent spoonThe festival will close each night with a party, with ice cream and sorbet, courtesy of the bent spoon, Princeton, NJ.

 

 

Artist Visions Lambertville NJThis year a selection of films from the Princeton Student Film & Video Festival will also screen at Artist Visions Film Festival, a new, first-year festival in nearby Lambertville, New Jersey, July 23 & 24, 2010.

They are highlighting work from students in Hunterdon County, NJ and Bucks County, PA, with some of the short film selections screening at the Princeton Student Film & Video Festival.
